Amilton Pinheiro is a contributor to Caderno 2, from the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo , curator and artistic director of Fest Aruanda do Audiovisual Brasileiro and Curta-SE, the Ibero-American Festival of Sergipe, member of the Brazilian Association of Cinema Critics (Abraccine) and the São Paulo Association of Art Critics (APCA), curator of the Lima Duarte Profissão: Ator Exhibition, held at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (CCBB), author of an essay on the film "Sargento Getúlio", published in the book "100 Melhores Brazilian Films", launched by Grupo Editorial Melhoramento and Abraccine. They have two projects in development, directing the documentary (feature) about the journalistic coverage of the death of memoirist Pedro Nava, in 1984, entitled "Um Tiro na Memória" and a book of stories that he wrote "Livro de Memórias", unedited.
